Brief Biography
Darin J. Dorsey (He/Him/His) has been engaged in the movement to end gender based violence since 2009, where he started as a Student Educator at a University in California. Since then he has worked as a prevention educator and policy advocate in a diverse set of communities across multiple states, including Texas, Washington, and Oregon. He has experience providing direct service as an advocate, including answering crisis lines and responding to hospital calls. Darin recently accepted a position at a women-led progressive political organization where he will be working to help candidates and organizations build the infrastructure they need to solve systemic problems for their communities, while continuing to independently offer training and consultation on topics including non-profit organizational change and violence prevention.
